Dave's scratch
Feb. 27th, 2012 07:24 amA very quick sketch of the scratch. The letter should be more obvious (thicker lines, with the curls slightly more delicate), and the tips/points of the hearts should overlap more. Also the size of the scratch is about the size of the nail on your pinky finger, so pretty small. The bottom one is more accurate, with the downstroke of the K being straight rather than curved.

Nov. 18th, 2011 08:24 pmSo, I haven't posted any of my drawings. Ever. The last time my art was seen by people other than myself was...*counts* erm... over half my lifetime ago, which is actually pretty scary. When I was in high school. Anyway, I drew this on my iPad, which isn't my favourite medium (having only owned it for 10 days I need A LOT more practice.) Anyway, I am tipsy, and I thought I'd put this out there anyway. It's Dave in bed. Sorry for the crappy shading and outlining and...well, I have always used pencils, charcoal or black ink pens to draw, so I will be staying away from colour until I have mastered B&W. Also I can't figure out how to crop. Yes. I fail. This has already been determined. I might actually work up the courage to post some of my art I drew for fanfic that I've read, but that would actually involve me scanning it, because I drew it old-school style.
Right - now off to write about sex! Yay!

I have time on my hands. Both babies are asleep (for maybe another 30 minutes). They are finally settling into a predictable routine. And they sleep at night. So it could be a lot worse, but I am feeling selfish and want all my free time back. I feel like drawing for the first time in months and have three unfinished pictures. I'll need to re-read the stories, but I think I know what I'm going to try and do in my down time tomorrow.
